Didn't know where to eat, this spot was close by and on the way.
Bought a chicken burrito and it's pretty big and fills you up!
Enjoy -

We visit this restaurant multiple times a month and have a good time almost every time. The food is delicious and inexpensive, and their Diet Coke on tap seriously tastes better than other places for some reason. My boyfriend always gets the molcajete dish, and I've been getting the nachos lately. Their chicken is so fresh, but I think they stopped making their own chips. I LOVE THEIR GREEN SALSA. I top everything I get with it. Their regular salsa is also delicious but sometimes too spicy for me.
The only thing I got and didn't enjoy was the pineapple agua fresca because it was so pulpy and not sweet enough. Could be a personal preference, but something to be aware of.
Their bathroom is clean but has some funny and slightly inappropriate graffitis. -

Saw Hacienda from the freeway, and stopped in for a quick late lunch on the way home. I often find the food in Marin mediocre, and frequently overpriced. So I keep an eye out for Mexican restaurants. They're usually good to very good, sometimes outstanding, and never an expensive disappointment.
I had the chicken tortilla soup, a generous bowl. It was unlike others I've had, with cubes of queso fresco, corn, chicken, and a generous dollop of crema. Delicious and filling. They also provide chips and excellent salsas at no extra charge, which is sadly becoming less common these days. Other people's plates looked inviting, in looking forwards to going back. -

This place is a nice little find. Not fancy but if your are one mood for some quick good tacos give them a shot.

"Mucho fricken bueno bruh." -my buddy said after we devoured the food.
I actually had to pass by at least ten other Mexican food places to make it here. It's worth the effort. The fam here is from Guadalajara Jalisco and they definitely bring the place to Marin. We are fortunate to have them do all the work.
Try the michelada or "bloody beer". No one else makes them like they do here.
